For contractors
Build around the job, not the payroll.
CrewTank employs the field crew. You draw qualified workers when a job ramps and release the assignment when it winds down — without carrying idle payroll between projects.
One loaded hourly rate per worker. No placement fee, no conversion fee, no minimum headcount — and your supervisors still run the job.
Why contractors use it
Take employment administration off your plate.
Payroll, taxes, workers' compensation, benefits administration, onboarding and employment administration sit with CrewTank.
Match labor to the job.
Ramp when work opens. Release the assignment when it ends instead of carrying idle payroll.
Keep control of the work.
Your supervisors, your site, your schedule, your quality standards. CrewTank carries the employment relationship.

What contractors ask first
Control and cost, answered.
How pricing works
One loaded hourly rate. Nothing bolted on.
You approve a rate per trade before anyone starts, and you're billed for approved hours at that rate. Rates depend on trade, wage level, certification requirements and shift pattern, so we quote them per cohort instead of publishing one number that would be wrong for most contractors.
Inside the rate
- The worker's hourly wage
- Employer payroll taxes
- Workers' compensation premium
- Benefits administration
- Onboarding, I-9 and withholding processing
- Payroll processing and reporting
Never charged
- Placement or finder fees
- Conversion fees if you hire the worker directly
- Minimum headcount or minimum-hours commitments
- Charges for idle time between assignments
Billed separately, only if you ask
- Overtime and premium hours at the statutory multiple
- Per-diem or travel you authorize in writing
- Certifications you ask us to sponsor for your cohort
A pilot scope comes back with the rate for every trade in your cohort in writing, so you can compare it line by line against what that crew costs you today.

Request a pilot crew
Start with one crew. Measure the results. Expand on proof.
Get loaded into the CrewTank app: add your company and jobsites, tell us the trades and the ramp, and request the crew a job needs. We come back with a scoped pilot — cohort size, loaded rates by trade, and the draw plan for your next two projects.
Takes about five minutes and it's the same system your crew requests, hours and invoices run in. Rather talk first? Email partners@crewtank.com and we'll respond within one business day.
